I have ALWAYS been up very early-3am despite my efforts to change my circadian rhythym. Since I'm always up early, I'm always at work very early and am ready to leave promptly at the end of the work day. Since there are many night people who stay late (they arrived much later), I often feel guilty about leaving work on time and feel the need to explain that I've been at work since 6:30 am and need to leave! We DO go through the same struggles, ours are just in the afternoon/evening instead of the morning!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18370810.post-65087218247987828982007-09-07T06:07:00.000-05:002007-09-07T06:07:00.000-05:00stinkypaw: me, too... about the violent actions wh...stinkypaw: me, too... about the violent actions when awakened before I'm ready. We have a rule in the mornings: no talking to anybody until everyone is fully awake. ;-)

sparkling: no, you're not crazy. That freaks me out, too!

goldennib: EXACTLY!

Brent: we've actually mentioned that around these parts before, too. I wholeheartedly agree with you! And it's true - somewhere along the way society decided that to sleep in the morning is lazy but to stay up at night is irresponsible (because it stops us from waking early). To bad for all us night people... i wonder if there is a case for discrimination there?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18370810.post-90344652526742998572007-09-06T17:18:00.000-05:002007-09-06T17:18:00.000-05:00The only time it is ok to see 4am if if you've bee...The only time it is ok to see 4am if if you've been up all night and you are getting ready to go to bed. The only time it is somewhat tolerable (and that's stretching it A LOT) is when I travel, for vacations (does not apply to work!)... but other than that it is bad.

I've been know to get violent when woken up too early for my internal clock.
