Update #1: Thanks to all who encouraged me to see a doctor. My gallbladder is indeed the culprit, and it is necessary to have it removed. So, surgery is looming in the very near future, along with graduation parties and everything else we're doing this month. BUT, I know it's important to take care of this, so time will be made.
While I'm glad that I now know what the problem is, I'm not thrilled about having surgery. On the bright side, I'm definitely glad that it's treatable and am fully aware that it could be something much, much worse. For that, I'm sooooo grateful.
So, thanks again for all your advice and support!
Update #2: I chickened out. No drastic hair change. Just highlights and a slightly different, slightly shorter cut. I'm such a wuss! ;-)
Of course, I don't have the AFTER picture with me. I'll try to post that later tonight. :-)

I'm so glad you discovered what the problem is. Big sigh of relief all around. It's tense going into a surgery, but think of the end when you're feeling better. Plus, the drugs are niiiiice. ;)
Glad to read that you know what is wrong and fixing it is easy. Nowdays, it's a minor surgery, you'll be fine and it will give you a chance to be pampered a little! ;-)
So you chicken' out? You big wuss! Still want to see that picture!
I'm sorry your finicky gallbladder feels the need to move on, but I'm glad you know what the problem is, and it's easily fixed!
I'm glad you have an answer. Surgery's no fun, but like you said, it could definitely be worse!
Nicely done with the self-diagnosis. Maybe you should go into medicine!
Take it easy and make sure you do the follow-up.
Glad to hear you found out what was going on, even if it means there is a problem. Better to know now and fix it than live in pain while it gets worse. Meanwhile, I'll be sending good thoughts your way.
Sorry I didn't get around to chiming in on you hair last week. For what it's worth, I think your hair looks adorable in that picture. I'm a bit jealous. I don't know why you think there's anything wrong with it - said the girl who posted last week about the fantastic dream she had where she had perfect curls.... ;-)
If you want i can take your gall bladder out back and slap it around for a bit. A couple of punches to the gall bladder ought to set it straight.
What everyone else said. :-)
Good luck!
I am sure your hair looks very cute, and I'm glad the doctors were able to figure out what was wrong!
I hear the gallbladder doesn't play well with others, so you'll feel much better after. Now, the hair situation is very dire; D
