Dear Genie,
Here are my three wishes:
1) I would like a new job. One that allows me to telecommute from home, is around 4-6 hours a day, and affords me enough time to HAVE A LIFE.
2) I would like either a) a live-in maid, or b) the energy and desire to clean my home. It's pathetic. No, really. You wouldn't even want to walk past the foyer. Trust me. If I can't have A or B, could you maybe just pop in every day and BLINK it clean for me? Thanks.
3) World Peace.
Thanks. I put that last one in there just so I wouldn't seem like a total selfish pig. And maybe that would put me in your good graces, so that you would give me the first two wishes. Pretty Please?

I am in on that first wish. It's not even that i don't have a life, i just hate getting up in the morning.
I'll take some of wish 2 too (tu-tu?), but only if it's the maid. I really don't know why i would wish to clean myself (that is, for i to perform the action of cleaning, not for the dirt behind my ears to be magicked away.) My bedroom looks like something from a war zone albeit with less ordinance.
I am willing to negotiate a "salary" for said services......
I'm with you on your #1. I mean is it asking too much to work 4-6 hours a day and make decent money? I don't think so!
I just read your 'Dear Print' blog. I had issues with 'Print' also back in August. It's amazing that they can tell you one thing then turn around and it's a whole different thing. I was on the phone with them for 2 hours. No joke.
My favorite shirt advises to screw world peace and want a pony instead. :)
