Hot Weather yields a Lifeless Frump...

Yuck. It's HOT. I don't mean warm. I don't mean kinda hot. It's like Africa hot here. No, I take that back, because I'm sure there are parts of Africa that are less miserable than the weather here.

I just can't function in this kind of weather. My tummy starts to hurt, I'm lethargic, and all I want to do is sleep. Of course... today was my first day back at work. How can anyone be effective when all you can do is sit and puddle?

Yeah, I'm not looking for any suggestions. I just want to whine. ;-)

Oh, and I did FINALLY post some more pictures from San Diego. If you want to see them, click here. Eventually, I'll get more up there... maybe by autumn. By then, the weather will be cooling down, and I'll actually be able to move beyond my current tree sloth pace.

Try this - wrap your entire body in cling-wrap, it'll hold the sweat in. :)

Or, wear a still suit. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stillsuit

Get really drunk, strip down and jump in your neighbors pool. If they don't have a pool, fill their bathtub up with icecubes instead.

I know what chu mean, It was 100 degress here on Saturday, luckily I wasn't around to enjoy it, I had the option of swimming in crystal clear lakes anytime I wanted all last week. :D

You did write that you didn't want suggestion right?

I totally understand you about the yucky hot weather - I'm sort of happy we now have a central air in the house - sort of, because since it's been installed I've been freezing my ass off, but at least I'm not sitting in a puddle!

Nice pics - love the sky one, something spooky about it!

I comisserate with you, baby. This weather makes me ill, just going between building and car.

wire: funny... that sounds like it would only make me hotter. And Dune? Eeeeek.

margus: mmmmmm, crystal clear lakes sound like heaven.

stinkypaw: yes, yes I did. ;-)

Oh, and there are very few buildings here that aren't air-conditioned. What sucks is when you walk into a 65 degree A/C'd building, and then walk out into 100 degree weather. yuck

Thanks about the picture... that one is my favorite, I think. The clouds were really cool that night!

goldennib: exactly. I've had it. I'm moving to some place more temperate. Oh, yeah, except that I can't. ;-)

Oh, the heat - HATE it. It got to freakin 105 today (so I heard). Temps above 90 just make me not want to move. (Especially if moving involves leaving the house and the a/c.)

Tree sloth. Heehee. :-) Yup, that's how I feel.
