Please kindly fill in the blanks...

I have nothing today. So, I thought I'd learn more about you. Some other bloggers have had some very interesting responses to their fill in the blank posts, so here's a go at it. I'll add my answers to the first comment.

3. The excuse Matthew Broderick should have used for breaking his collarbone (he fell off a horse in Ireland) is _______________.

4. I am most anticipating ______________.

1. Didn't watch... spent the afternoon buying a car for my oldest and thus chose to go out joyriding with her all evening. Besides, the recaps online tell me all I need to know.

2. Seriously? Did I ask myself this question? There are too many! I guess I'd have to choose Tomas Crazy. Or P-Hil. Or J-Simp.

3. Wild sex with SJP.

4. College Football. woot!

5. Spend time with our kids.

1. I watched/didn't watch the Emmy Awards because I was underwhelmed, but I did look up at the pretty dresses from time to time.

2. The celebrity I would like to hear less about in the news right now is always Tom Cruise. Shut up, you dillhole.

3. The excuse Matthew Broderick should have used for breaking his collarbone (he fell off a horse in Ireland) is that he met up with Darby O'Gill and they were dancing a jig when it all very suddenly went awry.

4. I am most anticipating getting out of my career someday.

5. Since Monday is an American holiday (Labor Day), I think I will have a picnic!

3. Damn! DCMM you took my answer!
4. The sale of our home...sometime...anytime soon would be nice.

libragirl: wow. You could combine your Matthew Broderick excuse with mine and get a REALLY good excuse! ;-)

nabbalicious: Dillhole. hee hee And I'm still laughing over "dancing a jig when it all very suddenly went awry." Good one!

othur-me: Apparently, you really dislike Carrot Top? I haven't heard about him in ages. Is there a good story behind this hatred?

-r-: If I would have been home, I would have watched when Conan was on, and then channel-surfed when anyone else was on stage.
Von Maur? Nah. Not so much. Especially compared to our dear-departed CasualPetiteNoLongerInBusinessWhatTheHellAmIGoingToDO Store.

Car: a 7 year old Chevy Cavalier. She loves it. She named it The Dread Pirate Nigel.

MiMaw: Snotty blonde girls... good call! They should all just go away.

1. Didn't, because does anyone really need to see rich people force laughter at terrible jokes and win awards just to stroke their ego.

2. Matthew McConaughey and Lance Armstrong. WTF?

3. Seeing how SJP actually looks like a horse (I believe that some refer to her as My Little Parker Pony), there's your answer.

4. The release of JT's album. Slap me.

5. Indulge in sex, drugs, rock'n'roll. Or sleep in.

1. I didn't watch the Emmy Awards because I am sooo sick of awards shows, though I heard Conan was pretty good - I can see what everyone wore when People has their Emmy fashion issue.

2. The celebrity I would like to hear less about in the news right now is Jessica Simpson - even laughing at the dumb stuff she says is getting old.

3. The excuse Matthew Broderick should have used for breaking his collarbone (he fell off a horse in Ireland) is wild sex - that's almost always a good excuse.

4. I am most anticipating #5.

5. Since Monday is an American holiday (Labor Day), I think I will go swimming and read as many books as I can cram into one weekend.

1. We went to a block party on our street and the Emmy's can't compete with S'mores. Plus, all the dresses will be hashed over the next day anyway, so I'll still get to see the interesting part.

2.Paris Hilton and Jeremy Piven...I am irritated by the sight of them.
3. horse fall works for me.
4.birth of babe
5.celebrate with my sis who will be in town and try not to spend money since our car repairs are going to be--gasp! $1105.75 (at least they didn't say $1106 b/c that would've been too much)

2. All of them! Thankfully my exposure to celebrity news is incredibly low.

3. Testing his new rocket boots. C'mon! Who doesn't need rocket boots?

4. The day teleporters become commercially available. Think about it, it would change so much more than transportation. It'd be a revolution that would effect architecture, commerce, utilities (toilets would just be a bowl with teleporter in the bottom!) and all sorts of stuff!!!

Anyway...

5. Go to work, lazy Americans... (i jest)

othur-me: ummmm... yes?

hannah: My Little Parker Pony? That's is the funniest thing I've heard all day!

Sparkling Cipher: I agree on the awards shows... those people are soooo out of tune with reality, it's not even funny. Ah, and reading books all weekend. I think I might have to consider that!

Margaret Ann: S'Mores RULE! Good luck on not spending any money. I'm really bad at that.

3carnations: we don't talk about Tomas Crazy here. We just don't. ;-) I like your Broderick excuse. haha!

tammara: if we talked about Tomas Crazy here, I would be SOOOO with you on Scotty beaming him up already. Love it! And I'm very curious how much your frickin mocha frappucino costs. I don't drink those, but they seem a bit high here!

stinkypaw: ooooh! I love the kama sutra excuse! Perfect! And I love Christmas, too.

paisley: it's like P-Hil's face is EVERYWHERE. My daughter wanted to buy some perfume tonight, and there was her freaking face on a bottle! Gah!!!

wire: everyone TOTALLY needs rocket boots. Absolutely! And we know you aren't jesting. You actually think we're a bunch of simps who get the day off on a day called LABOR Day. I know your kind. ;-)
