Gee, Your Hair Smells Like... Pot Roast?

One of my pet peeves is going to a restaurant for lunch, and then having to go back to work smelling like that restaurant. The worst is when you can't get the smell out of your hair until you wash it again.

I know there are some hair refreshers out there... anyone have a favorite? Jonathan has one, but I've never tried it.

No idea on whether there are hair refreshers, but GOD, I hate that! My coat smells like curry because we eat at the Indian restaurant a lot. It's good going in, but not so much when you're smelling it three days later.

jn: Agreed. Restaurants should have some kind of de-smellifier that you can walk through (I'm envisioning a light, pleasant mist) as you leave the restaurant. Hmmm... maybe I should invent that.

What about good old Febreze? I've been known to spray it in my hair. The best trick I've ever learned, though, is vanilla extract. Put a little in your hand, rub hands together, rub hands through hair. Be sure to wash hands well afterwards or you'll be craving cookies the rest of the day, though.

My hair always reeks after I go to Starbucks - like burned coffee and broken dreams. So sad....
