Life is hard….

“All succeeds with people who are of cheerful disposition.” Voltaire

“A happy woman is one who has no cares at all; a cheerful woman is one who has cares but doesn't let them get her down.” Beverly Sills

“Children ask better questions than adults. ‘May I have a cookie?’ ‘Why is the sky blue?’ and ‘What does a cow say?’ are far more likely to elicit a cheerful response than ‘Where's your manuscript?’ ‘Why haven't you called?’ and ‘Who's your lawyer?’” Fran Lebowitz

"Nobody ever said life was easy." Everyone

"If everything was 'good' all the time, we wouldn’t know what 'good' means… because we’d have nothing to compare it to." Unknown (but it might have been me)

"Life sucks and then you die, so figure out a way to make the before-dying-part better." Unknown

"It's all bullshit, and you know it." ??

I’m stressed. I’m disappointed. I’m tired. I’m annoyed. And I don’t want anyone to cheer me up.

God, if this is what middle-age is like, fast forward me to my sixties, please.

I swear this is what I looked like when I woke up this morning.

Hope you had a rotten day (you said you didn't want to be cheered up;) I recommend kicking a neighbor.

My neighbor is a cop. That would be bad. Even worse than my day. ;-)

But I'm sure I can find someone to kick. Good suggestion... thanks!

Did i telepathically send you the, "I’m stressed. I’m disappointed. I’m tired. I’m annoyed. And I don’t want anyone to cheer me up?"

Yeah, you better not cheer up. I'd have to change your name on my blogroll from Grumpy Frump to what? Perky Frump? I think all charm would be lost.

Your dog still loves you and that's all that matters. Besides, you look really H-O-T in that green helmet.

Gotta love Marvin!!!
Cheer up chicky! You're just so wownderful, it'd be such a waste to be grumpy and not dish out the greatness that is you to the world! Internet or otherwise.

MPB: Nope. Not unless you made crappy things happen for the past month.

paisley: ANYTHING but 'perky'-- I hate being called that. And the green helmet IS quite striking, isn't it?!?

tammara: you and me both. Very very angry.

anonymous: what the heck is Evening Primrose Oil? And who are you??

ludi: okay, so I cracked a smile at your comment. :-) But I can't stop being a grump...see paisley's comment above. haha

LOVE the comment to "anonymous." Snort.

If you really want to carry your mood on longer, you're more than welcome to come spend time with my mother-in-law this weekend. It'll be a real anti-blast.

Sorry you're feeling down. I still heart you!

guiness_girl: I like my mothers-in-law (my husband's mom and his step-mom), so spending time with THEM would be okay... but I'm not so sure about yours. ;-)

maliavale: thanks... it's getting better. :-)
